Specification of Packing Gasket Novafhit Frenzolite SSTC
Novaphit SSTC is a graphite gasket material with inserts of stainless steel resistant acid (1.4404, AISI 316 L) for the highest pressure and temperature requirements. Good media resistance and security aspects even in applications with changing loads make the material superior. The extended metal layer, due to three-dimensional and non-intersection geometry, is superior to the standard graphite gasket with tanged and flat metal inserts, and exhibits its recovery properties on tongue and groove flange connections. Studies have shown that at a pressure of 40 MPa, leakage is approximately. 50% lower than the tangent metal gaskets. The graphite used in the SSTChas primitive number is at least 99% purity and proves its quality especially with the loss of exceptional ignition and oxidation values.
